How can you opt-out of emails?
To opt out of all emails from Equine Hanna Somatics, please click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any email you receive from us. This will remove you from the list you originally signed up on. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive future emails already in production, but these will stop shortly, if not immediately. You may also send us an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org requesting your email address be removed from our list. We will remove it promptly, but keep in mind the information above regarding emails in production also applies.

The Association for Equine Hanna Somatics Education (AEHSE) recognizes that the European Economic Area (the “EEA”) has established strict protections regarding the handling of EEA personally identifiable information, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). In recognition of the importance of GDPR, THE AEHSE has adopted the following GDPR Data Processing Policy (the “Policy”).

The AEHSE only collects data from users who either fill out a form or engage with the EquineHannaSomatics.org website. The AEHSE is committed to only collecting data that is necessary for the AEHSE to provide the content and services on the EquineHannaSomatics.org website.
You may also provide information to the AEHSE such as the following: information that you provide by filling in forms; records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), your search queries on the the AEHSE website.

Data Retention Period
The AEHSE will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you the services you signed up for or opted into. If you no longer want the AEHSE to use your information to provide you services, you may simply unsubscribe from the bottom of any email from us, or follow the “Withdrawal of Consent/Erasure” provision below. After closing your account, the AEHSE will solely use your information as necessary to comply with any applicable legal obligations.

If, at any point, you no longer wish to have your personal data processed by the AEHSE, wish to be forgotten, or wish to have your data erased, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org the phrase “consent withdrawn” or “erase” in the subject line. Your request should include your name and email address you want removed. The AEHSE will move expeditiously to stop the processing of your personal data and to remove your personal data from its systems. Please understand that, without access to your personal data, the AEHSE may not be able to provide certain services. For example, the AEHSE will not be able to send you communications, sales, offers, or newsletters.
Right to Correct, Access or Portability of Data and Associated Procedure
You have the right to have any inaccurate data corrected by a data controller. You also have the right to request access to your data or request that the AEHSE make your data portable to another data controller. In order to effect any such request, you should send the request with the subject line: Correction Access Portability to: email@example.com. Your request should include your name and email address. the AEHSE will endeavor to correct the data or to provide you your data in a simplistic and easily readable format as quickly as possible, but in no more than thirty (30) days.
